Guilty Pleasures

Super Bowl Sunday… mmm.. Chips. Dip. Chicken wings. Shrimp, if you’re feeling really ambitious… and your favorite beer- a lot of it.  But don’t forget the dog. Your best friend who doesn’t pass judgment when you’re jumping around hooligan style and chest bumping your buds. Admit it, we all do it. They may even join in and start barking up your leg or bite your ankles (for the herding types). Some folks settle for a simple “high-ten”, yet still no judgment from your loyal canine.

While you're screaming at the TV and doing your happy dance, your pup will take full advantage of that abandoned jar of queso. Plus leftover chicken bones. Only “Dog” knows what else they’ll find during your rants of excitement.

Long story short people – be aware of where your pooch is during this magnificent tradition we all can’t help but indulge in. It’s happened too many times and it can happen to you. A touchdown can turn into a Hail Mary at the vet after your dog swallows a napkin when they meant to get the crumbs.

Enjoy Madonna's half time show & the Puppy Bowl! I know we all wish we were watching the Niners play this Sunday but hey.. GO PATRIOTS!
